Before removing the battery connector and cable assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 14).
3. Remove the graphics fan (see Fans on page 16).
4. Remove the WLAN antenna (see WLAN antenna on page 21).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 24).
Remove the battery connector and cable assembly:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.5 × 4.5 screws (1) that secure each battery connector to the computer.
2. Remove the connector assembly from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the battery connector and cable assembly.
