Installing the drive in an HP Z620 or HP Z640 Workstation
NOTE: If more than one HP Z Turbo Drive is installed in a workstation, the J2 jumper on one of the drives (1)
must be moved to the other position (2).
Eight drives can be identified uniquely with the three jumpers, and all drives in the workstation must be
unique.
The HP Z620 and HP Z640 support two drives only.
1. Press down on the two green PCI retention clips located on the rear of the chassis (1) until they release,
then rotate the clips down to raise the retention clamp from the slot covers (2).
