• Server in rack mode: Remove the server from the rack on page 23.
• Server in tower mode: Position the tower server for hardware configuration on page 25.
6. Remove the access panel on page 25.
7. Remove the PCI air baffle on page 29.
8. Remove the system air baffle on page 30.
9. Remove the slot covers.
10. Install the energy pack holder.
11. Install the energy pack:
a. Install the energy pack into the holder.
b. Route the energy pack cable through the cable clip and connect to the system board.
