Printing quality might be degraded by dust, foreign substances, adhesive substances, or other pollution
materials stuck in the printer head or inside the printer. When dirty, clean the print head as follows:
1.Power off the printer.
Note: The printer must be powered off when attempting any cleaning on the printer.
2.Open the top cover and remove the paper and ribbon.
3.The print head gets very hot when printing. Allow the printer to rest while powered off for 2-3 minutes
before attempting any cleaning.
4.Use a cleaning pen to clean the head. When cleaning the print head, take care not to touch the heated
portion of the print head. The print head is susceptible to damage from static electricity, etc.
5.Be cautious of preventing any scratches or damage to the print head.
Notes are supplements to the instructions. What is provided here are the instructions themselves.
