38 Chapter 1 Getting Started
If you have set a password for your phone, you will be prompted for
the password when you unlock the phone. See “Protecting your phone
with a password” in Chapter 14 for information on setting a password.
Lock screen notifications
When your phone is locked, you are still notified of missed calls,
new messages and voicemail, and upcoming appointments. All
notifications are displayed below the Unlock Bar.
If there are multiple notifications, icons
representing the types of received information
are displayed along with the number of missed
calls, new messages, or voicemail.
Receiving a call when the phone is locked
You can receive and answer calls even when your phone is locked.
If a password has not been set, after you end the call your phone is
unlocked.
If a password has been set, your phone remains locked after you end
the call, unless you tap Unlock on the Phone screen during the call. For
more information, see “Answering and Ending Calls” in Chapter 2.
