• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, locate and touch the app for which you want
to disable notications, then disable Allow notications.
• Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Manage all, and turn o the switch next to
the app.
Hide Content of Notications on the Lock Screen
To enable this feature:
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, and enable Hide notication content.
Notications Turn on Screen
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, and enable Wake screen. Your phone will then
automatically turn on the lock screen when it receives a notication.
Manage Notications for Specic Apps
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar, touch an app to go to the notication
management details screen, and enable or disable notications for the app. You can then set
the notication mode within the app, or separate modes for dierent types of notications,
by touching the corresponding notication type (for example, Social), as follows:
The notication types may vary by app.
• Gentle notications: When this switch is turned on, notications will only display in
Notication Panel, and will not appear as banners, lock screen notications, or status bar
icons, nor will your device ring or vibrate.
• Lock screen and Banners: Allows you to select the notication display method.
• Notication tone: Allows you to change the notication tone and set a vibration pattern.
• Allow interruptions: When you enable Allow interruptions for an app, your phone will
still be able to receive
notications from this app in Do Not Disturb mode.
You can also swipe down from the upper left edge of the screen to display Notication Panel,
swipe left on a notication, and go to > More settings to manage the app's
notications.
Set the Status Bar to Simple Display
Go to Settings > Notications & status bar > Status bar, and enable Simple display. After
doing so, only the following frequently-used icons will display on the phone status bar by
default: time, Wi-Fi network, mobile signal, and battery level.
