Accessing a Network Through Wi-Fi in Point-to-Point
Mode
Procedure Screen
(1) On the Phone Settings screen, tap
Network to display the Network
screen.
(2) Tap the Network type drop-down
list, and then tap Wi-Fi.
(3) Tap the Infra drop-down list, and
then tap Adhoc.
(4) Tap Set to display the Network
screen.
(5) Set the parameters of the static IP
address.
(6) Tap Save to save the setting for the
access mode and exit.
(7) Tap the SSID text box, and then
enter the SSID of the access point.
(8) Tap Save to save the network
settings and exit.
(9) To enable the new settings to take
effect, tap Yes in the displayed
dialog box.
