Setting the Screen Timeout Period
To reduce power consumption, HUAWEI MediaPad
automatically locks its screen if it is idle for a specified
period. You can set the timeout period as you wish.
1. From the Home screen, touch > All > Display >
Sleep.
2. Choose a timeout period.
Screen Lock
Locking the screen prevents your device from carrying out
undesirable operations when you are not using it. HUAWEI
MediaPad lets you lock the screen in a number of ways.
1. From the Home screen, touch > All > Security >
Screen lock.
2. Select a locking method and follow the onscreen
instructions.
With a screen lock set, if HUAWEI MediaPad is idle for a
specified period of time, it automatically locks its screen. You
can also press the Power key to lock the screen.
