Parameter Description Setting
Set the I/O
timeout
threshold for the
secondary LUN
If data is written into the primary LUN but fails
to be written into the secondary LUN when the
timeout period you set has elapsed, the remote
replication pair enters the Interrupted status.
NOTE
This parameter is available only when Replication
Mode is set to Synchronous.
[Example]
Enabled
Timeout
Threshold
(second)
The timeout for data written into the secondary
LUN.
NOTE
This parameter is available only when Replication
Mode is set to Synchronous.
[Example]

Step 5 Confirm the operation of modifying properties of the consistency group.
1. Click OK.
The Execution Result dialog box is displayed indicating that the operation is successful.
2. Click Close to complete modifying the properties of the consistency group.

7.3 Synchronizing a Consistency Group
This operation enables all remote replication pairs contained in a consistency group to initiate
data synchronization simultaneously so that data is synchronized from all primary LUNs to all
secondary LUNs at the same point in time, ensuring data validity.
Prerequisites
l This operation can be performed only on the primary device of a consistency group.
l Secondary resource protection has been enabled.
l Based on Running Status of a consistency group, determine whether data
synchronization can be performed for the consistency group, as shown in Table 7-4.
