6 Component Replacement
6.1 Replacing a Function Module
Prerequisites

The protective gloves, inner hex torque screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, Phillips
screwdriver, and waterproof tape are available.

The new function module is available.
Procedure
Step 1 Put on the protective gloves.
Step 2 Switch off the upstream input circuit breaker for the function module.
Step 3 Remove the old function module.
1. Record the cable connection positions on the function module.
2. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the fastener on the quick connector and take off the
connector, as shown in the following figure.
