Caution:
Before connecting to the sync/async serial interface, make sure the following:
1) Type of the devices connected to the sync/async serial interface, i.e., if it is synchronous or
asynchronous, if it works in DTE mode or DCE mode.
2) The baud rate shall not exceed 64Kbps when EIA/TIA-232 cables are working under synchronization
mode.
8LSA module support different electric signal standard and baud rate under different
operating mode (DTE, DCE). Choose the cable according to actual situation. The
maximum signal transmission distance and the set baud rate also depends on the
selected cable.
For information about DTE, DCE and sync/async serial cable, refer to Section 8.6.1.
