Parameter Description
Soft start/boot time (s) Species the duration for the power to gradually increase
when the SUN2000 starts.
Shutdown gradient (%/s) Species the power change speed when the inverter shuts
down.
Night-time hibernation The SUN2000 monitors PV strings at night. If Hibernate at
night is set to Enable, the monitoring function of the
SUN2000 will hibernate at night, reducing power consumption.
MBUS communication For solar inverters that support RS485 communication and
MBUS communication, you are advised to set this parameter
to Disable to reduce power consumption.
Delay upgrade Upgrade delay is mainly used in the upgrade scenarios where
the PV power supply is disconnected at night due to no
sunlight or unstable at dawn or dusk due to poor sunlight.
After the solar inverter starts to upgrade, when Upgrade
delay is set to Enable, the upgrade package is loaded rst.
After the PV power supply resumes and the activation
conditions are met, the solar inverter automatically activates
the upgrade.
RS485-2 communication If this parameter is set to Enable, the RS485-2 port can be
used. If the port is not used, you are advised to set this
parameter to Disable to reduce power consumption.
Duration for determining short-
time grid disconnection (ms)
The standards of certain countries and regions require that the
inverter should not disconnect from the power grid if the
power grid experiences a short-time failure. After the fault is
rectied, the inverter output power needs to be quickly
restored.
AFCI The North American standard requires that the inverter should
have DC arc detection function.

7.1.4.4 Built-in PID Recovery
Ensure that the inverter ground cable is securely connected. Otherwise, the built-in
PID repair function will be
aected and electric shocks may occur.
Working Principle
When the SUN2000 is disconnected from the network, the built-in PID can repair
the PV– positive oset. (PV– positive oset refers to raising the voltage between
