8 Maintenance
8.1 SUN2000 Power-O
Important Notes
WARNING
● After the SUN2000 powers o, the remaining electricity and heat may still
cause electric shocks and body burns. Therefore, put on protective gloves and
begin operating the SUN2000
ve minutes after the power-o.
● Before maintaining the optimizer and PV string, turn o the AC switch and DC
switch. Otherwise, electric shocks may occur as the PV string is energized.
Procedure
Step 1 Turn o the AC switch between the SUN2000 and the power grid.
Step 2 Turn
o the DC switch at the bottom of the SUN2000.
Step 3 (Optional) Install the locking screw beside the DC switch.

Step 4 Turn on the DC switch between the PV string and the SUN2000 if there is any.
Step 5 (Optional) Turn o the battery switch between the SUN2000 and batteries.
