What to do if Hunter H39 engine cranks but won't start?
    • C
      Chelsea HansonAug 2, 2025
If your Hunter Boat engine cranks but doesn't start, begin by cleaning the fuel filter and verifying the fuel level. Also, inspect the anti-siphon valve, if your boat has one, to ensure it's not stuck closed. Additionally, you can check and replace the fuel filter and also check the fuel pump, fuel pump filter, fuel filter, and fuel tank line for cracked flanges or restricted fittings. Also, ensure you are following the correct starting procedure.

Why is there water in my Hunter H39 Boat fuel tank?

      joshuataylorAug 12, 2025
If you find water or moisture in your Hunter Boat fuel tank, start by checking the cap on the deck fuel fill plate to make sure it's tight. If tightening the cap doesn't solve the problem, and if you have condensation forming on the walls of a partially filled tank, follow the remedies for condensation. If the issue persists, it could be due to poor quality fuel, in which case the fuel tank and lines may need to be drained and flushed.

      Olivia SmithAug 22, 2025
If fuel overflows at the fill plate of your Hunter Boat even when the tank isn't full, the fill or vent line might be blocked. Inspect these lines for any obstructions and clear them. If the line is kinked, straighten it out.
