3. Disconnect all connections from the circuit board.
Use pliers to push in the plastic catches that hold the
connections.
4. Remove the screw that holds the circuit board
bracket.
5. Carefully remove the circuit board bracket.
6. Remove the circuit board from the circuit board
bracket.
7. Keep the plastic washers used as spacers between
the circuit board bracket and the circuit board.
8. Do step 3-8 in opposite sequence to install the new
circuit board.
Note: The cable connections have different colors.
The same colors are written adjacent to the
connections on the circuit board.
9. Connect the negative cable to the battery.
10. Do a test of all the electrical functions and the LEDs
on the circuit board.
11. Assemble the side cover of the control panel.
12. Do a check of the functions of the product.
9.3.3 To replace a warning lamp
1. Remove the side cover of the control panel. Refer to
To remove the covers on page 23
.
2. Disconnect the warning lamp connector.
3. Remove the plastic nut.
4. Push the warning lamp through the control panel.
9.3.4 To replace the battery
1. Open the engine cover.
2. Remove the strap that holds the battery.
3. Remove the negative cable from the battery.
4. Remove the positive cable from the battery.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Assemble in opposite sequence.
9.3.5 To replace a fuse
A broken fuse has a burned connector.
1. Remove the engine cover to get access to the
broken fuse. Refer to
To remove the covers on page
23
.
a) To replace the main fuse, remove the engine
cover. The main fuse is in a holder below the
battery.
