b) Front transmission.
6. Attach the drain plug when the oil is drained.
7. Fill the transmission with new oil.
8. Use a dipstick to make sure that the oil level is
correct.
9.6.2 To do a check of the transmission oil level
1. Use the oil dipstick to read the oil level in the
transmission.
2. The oil level must be between the marks on the
dipstick.
3. If the oil level is too low, fill with the type of oil given
in
Technical data on page 84
.
9.6.3 To disassemble and assemble the rear
transmission
1. Put a jack assembly below the product. The
illustration shows where to put the supports.
2. Remove the rear wheels and wheel hubs from the
rear transmission.
3. Remove the transmission cover. Refer to
To remove
the covers on page 23
.
4. Put a container below the transmission to collect oil
spill.
5. Clean the hydraulic couplings. Obey the hydraulic
instructions. Refer to
To keep the hydraulic system
clean on page 44
.
6. Make marks on the hoses to make it easier to attach
them correctly. Refer to
Work procedure on page 44
.
7. Remove the hoses from the pump. Put protection
caps on the hoses to prevent leakage and
contamination.
