10. Pull back the rubber protection until the cable can go
through the bracket opening.
11. Loosen the locknut and remove the cable from the
bracket.
12. Make a note of how the cable is put.
13. Remove the cable.
14. Assemble in opposite sequence.
15. Do a check of the cable adjustment and adjust if it is
necessary. Refer to To adjust the cutting height on
page 65 .
9.7.9 To remove and attach the BioClip plug
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position.
2. Remove the 3 screws that hold the BioClip plug and
remove the plug.
3. Attach 3 M8x15 mm screws in the screw holes for
the BioClip plug to prevent damage to the threads.
4. Put the cutting deck in mow position.
5. Attach the BioClip plug in the opposite sequence.
9.7.10 To replace the blades
1. Put the cutting deck in servicing position.
2. Lock the blade with a wooden block (A).

3. Loosen and remove the blade bolt (B), the washers
(C) and the blade (D).
4. Assemble the new blade with the ends that have an
angle in the direction of the cutting deck.
WARNING: Incorrect blade type can cause
objects to eject from the cutting deck and
cause serious injury. Use only the blades
given in Technical data on page 84 .
5. Attach the blade, the washer and the bolt. Tighten
the bolt with a torque of Nm.
9.7.11 To disassemble the blade bearings
1. Remove the covers on the cutting deck.
2. Remove the belts.
3. Remove the screws that hold the pulley. Lock the
blade with a wooden block.
4. Remove the pulley. Use a puller if it is necessary.
