2 Measure the voltage on the gray wire from J7 (pin 1) when the
start key is turned to "Start". The voltage in the wire must then be
12V.
Do a check
of safety
switch and
connectors,
replace if
necessary.
Wiring
fault.
3 Do a check of the black wire and connectors between the engine
and J1 (pin 6) on the circuit board.
Repair the
wire or re-
place the
wiring.
4 Do a check of the black wire and connectors between the seat
switch and J3 (pin 1) on the circuit board.
5 Do a check of the black, green and blue wires and connectors to
the parking brake microswitch.
6 Do a check of the blue wire and connectors from J3 (pin 3) on the
circuit board to the connector before the parking brake.
PTO activation
does not work

voltage
1 Do a check of the 5A “Fuse P.T.O.” Replace
fuse
2 Measure the voltage on J6 (pin 3) with the key in “ON” position.
The voltage must be equal to the battery voltage.
Go to steps
3-6.
3 Measure the voltage in the connector to the electrical coupling.
The voltage must be equal to the battery voltage when PTO is en-
gaged.

4 Do a check of the gray wire and connectors from J1 (pin 9) on the
circuit board to the PTO clutch.
Repair the
wire or re-
place the
wiring.
5 Do a check of the blue wire and connectors from the PTO clutch to
the battery.
6 Do a check of the yellow wire and connectors from J6 (pin 3) on
the circuit board to the PTO switch.
7 Do a check of the yellow wire and connectors from J6 (pin 6) on
the circuit board to the PTO switch.

1 Do a check of the black wire and connectors between J1 (pin 6)
and the engine.
Repair the
wire or re-
place the
wiring.
2 Do a check of the black wire and connectors between J7 (pin 5)
and the key switch.
3 Do a check of the blue wire and connectors between J7 (pin 6)
and the key switch.

4 Do a check of that the black wire from connector J7 (pin 5) and the
blue cable from J7 (pin 6) makes contact when the key is in “OFF"
position.
Replace the
