5. To make sure that no weight is applied on the
support wheels, put a wooden block between the
frame and the bathroom scale.
6. To adjust the ground pressure, turn the adjustment
screws found behind the front wheels on the right
and left sides.
7. Turn the screws right or left until the ground
pressure is between 12 and 15 kg (26.5-33 lb).
9.6.4 To adjust the parallelism of the cutting deck
1. Remove the front cover. Refer to
To remove the
front cover on page 18
.
2. Loosen the locknuts on the lifting rod.
3. Turn the adjustment nut to extend the lifting rod or
make it shorter. Extend the lifting rod to lift the rear
edge of the cover. Make the lifting rod shorter to
lower the rear edge of the cover.
4. Tighten the locknuts on the lifting rod when the
adjustment is done.
5. Do a check of the parallelism. Refer to
To do a
check of the parallelism of the cutting deck on page
11
.
6. Install the front cover.
9.6.5 To adjust the cutting height
1. Make sure that the cutting height stay is attached to
the cutting deck.
2. Put the cutting height lever in the lowest cutting
height position.
3. Remove the right footrest plate and the right side
cover. Refer to
To remove the covers on page 18
.
4. Turn the adjustment nut until there is no play
between the cutting deck and the cutting height stay.
5. Do a check of the parallelism of the cutting deck.

6. Do a check of the ground pressure of the cutting
