9.9.2 To lubricate the belt adjuster
The belt adjuster must be lubricated regularly with a
good quality molybdenum disulphide grease.
1. Remove the 2 screws that hold the belt cover and
remove the cover.
2. Lubricate with a grease gun through the grease
nipple at the right side, below the lower belt pulley.
Lubricate until grease comes out of the rear side of
the grease nipple.
3. Attach the belt cover and tighten the 2 screws.
9.9.3 To remove the transmission belt
1. Lift up the cutting deck.
2. Remove the transmission cover. Refer to
To remove
the transmission cover on page 19
.
3. Remove the snap ring and remove the cooling fan.
4. Disengage the spring on the belt tensioner.
5. Remove the transmission belt from the hydrostatic
transmission pulley with a screwdriver and a wrench.
6. Remove the engine pulley covers on the left and
right side of the product.
