7.14 Dismantling the intake system
Dismantle:
• clutch cover
• air fi lter housing
• air fi lter
• air fi lter
holder
• handle cover
• carburettor

Dismantle the vibration elements from the tank unit
as shown in fi gures 55 and 56.
Cleaning and checking
Clean and check all parts carefully. Parts must
be replaced if cracked or showing signs of other
defects. Always use original spare parts.

Gently press out the inlet bellows A, B and the air
intake bellows C, see fi gure 57.

Loosen the nipple on the saw chain oil hose and lift
off the tank unit.
