How to fix an Hytorc Stealth Power Tool electric pump that will not run?
    • M
      Marvin JohnsonAug 19, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool electric pump will not run, open the control box and visually inspect for loose threaded or push-on connectors. Reconnect any loose wires, referring to the wiring diagram if needed. Replace the brushes if they are bad. Replace the motor or components, whichever is necessary, if the motor is burned up.

What to do if my Hytorc Stealth Power Tool locks onto the nut?
    • E
      Eric ThomasAug 21, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool locks onto the nut, press the advance button on the remote and build pressure. While continuing to press down on the remote, pull back on one of the accuracy assurance levers, then release the remote while still holding back on the levers. If the tool operates backward, push the advance button down; the tool should immediately fall free. Run test #5. If the tool is wedged under a fixed object, remove the shroud from around the ratchet. Use any available tool to pry the drive segment out of the ratchet while simultaneously pulling back on the accuracy assurance levers. The tool should swing free or burn away the socket or obstruction.

Why Hytorc Stealth Power Tool pump will not build pressure?
    • S
      Stacey WheelerAug 26, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool pump will not build pressure, check the air pressure or voltage if the air or electric supply is low. Replace the valve if the relief or regulator valve is defective. Fill the reservoir and clean the filter if the oil is low or the filter is clogged. If there's an internal leak in the oil line from the external relief valve to the pump body, open the reservoir and inspect the oil line while trying to build pressure. If leaking, tighten the fittings or replace the line. Check for a worn sub-plate.

Why is my Hytorc Power Tool motor sluggish and inefficient?
    • A
      andersonjulieAug 28, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool motor is sluggish and inefficient, with a sound, and slow to build pressure, check the air pressure or voltage if the air or electric supply is low. Also, clean or replace the filter if it is clogged.

Why does the gauge record no pressure on my Hytorc Stealth Power Tool?
    • E
      Ethan RodriguezAug 30, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool gauge records no pressure, tighten the coupling if the gauge connection is loose. Replace the gauge if it is bad. Refer to the 'Cylinder pressure will not build pressure' section if the pump will not build pressure. Replace defective seals if the tool seals are blown.

What to do if my Hytorc Power Tool hose or tool fitting is damaged or leaks?
    • W
      waynemelendezSep 1, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool has a hose or tool fitting that is damaged or leaks, continue operation if the underlying Kevlar or steel is still intact when the plastic outer covering is broken or melted, but inspect frequently. Cut the hose in half and discard it, then replace the hose if there are frayed Kevlar or steel strands or oil leaks through the fibers. Remove the old fitting and replace it with STEEL high-pressure fittings only if there are broken fittings. After changing fittings, always run test #5 to ensure proper plumbing.

Why does my Hytorc Stealth Power Tool pump heats up?
    • C
      crojasSep 3, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool pump heats up, it may be due to improper use, such as the operator continuing to hold down the advance stroke after the cylinder has reached the end of the stroke. Have the operator release the advance stroke after the accuracy assurance levers spring forward. Also, ensure the remote control is not left in the “on” position when the pump is not actively in use. Turn the pump off whenever it is not being used.

What to do if the gauge shows pressure build-up but the Hytorc Stealth Power Tool will not cycle?
    • J
      jhunterSep 5, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool gauge shows pressure build-up but the tool will not cycle, tighten or replace the couplings if they are loose or inoperative. Check the solenoid using test #2; if it is bad, replace it.

What to do if the cylinder will not retract on my Hytorc Stealth Power Tool?
    • J
      Jessica DiazSep 7, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool cylinder will not retract, get a shorter extension cord or upgrade to 12AWG, 25 amp rating or better, if the voltage to the electric pump is too low due to line drop or inadequate amperage available. If shop power is adequate, draw power from a welding machine or cal rod transformer. Remove parts as necessary. Replace parts as necessary if the linkage between the piston rod and drive arms is broken.

Why is my Hytorc Stealth cylinder leaking?
    • D
      David PooleSep 10, 2025
If the Hytorc Power Tool cylinder or tool leaks, tighten all hose and couplers if the safety relief valve on the swivel has lifted. If the leak continues, adjust the safety setting using Test #4. Replace the O-ring with a proper high-pressure O-ring if there is a blown O-ring in the cylinder. Replace the gland seal if it is defective.
