Why does the pressure in my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool system not increase?
    • K
      karen40Aug 18, 2025
The pressure in the system might not increase due to several reasons. There could be oil leakage because of a defective piston, piston seal, or O-ring, in which case you should replace the defective part. Alternatively, there might be leakage in the pressure relief valve or the two oil line connections; try tightening the leaking connection using a 9/16” open-end wrench. A worn motor coupling, indicated by the pump making sounds like pebbles in a tin can, can also cause this issue, requiring replacement of the motor coupling. Another cause might be the air shut-off valve failing due to excessive moisture or dirt in the air supply, which can be resolved by cleaning the air shut-off valve and the air lines. Lastly, the valve in the remote control might have failed and needs replacement.

What to do if my Hytorc Power Tool motor does not operate?
    • C
      Catherine OwensAug 20, 2025
If the motor does not operate, the most likely reason is that there is no power supply. Check the power supply to resolve this issue.

What to do if my Hytorc Stealth 8 leaks externally?
    • K
      Kevin HawkinsAug 23, 2025
External leaks can occur if blind plugs or end caps are worn, damaged, or not secured; in this case, replace the blind plugs or end caps. Also, a defective O-ring or gland seal in the piston can cause leaks, requiring replacement of the defective part.

Why is my Hytorc Power Tool moving slower than usual?
    • F
      Frank NelsonAug 26, 2025
If your tool is moving slower than usual, it could be due to a leakage in the system. To check, adjust the pump pressure to 700 bar (10,000 psi), switch off the pump unit while holding the start button. The pump pressure must decrease to 100 bar (1,450 psi). If the pump pressure decreases to 0 bar (0 psi), contact your local HYTORC representative.

What to do if my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool piston does not retract?
    • C
      Charles DavisAug 28, 2025
If the piston does not retract, it could be due to hose couplings on the tool and the pump unit not being secured properly. Ensure you securely tighten the female coupling to the male coupling. Another reason could be damage to the linkage between the piston and the drive arms, which would require replacing the defective part.

Why does my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool operate backwards?
    • T
      Thomas HowardAug 30, 2025
If the tool operates backwards, it may be because an even number of hoses has been connected. Connect an odd number of hoses. Another possible cause is interchanged male and female couplings. Use a HYTORC twin hose to correct this.

Why does my Hytorc Stealth 8 motor make strange noises and not provide pressure (400V pump units only)?
    • C
      Christine Sutton PhDSep 1, 2025
If the motor makes strange noises and does not provide pressure, it may be due to an incorrect direction of rotation. Change the direction of rotation.

What to do if my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool motor does not accelerate and stops after starting?
    • J
      Jennifer JohnstonSep 4, 2025
If the motor does not accelerate and stops after starting, there may be a drop in voltage due to an extension cable that is too thin or too long. Check the pump unit with the mains plug directly in the wall socket, without using an extension cable.

Why doesn't the pump of my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool build pressure?
    • D
      drakeanthonySep 6, 2025
If the pump does not build pressure, the air supply may be too low. When the pump operates, ensure that the air pressure is at least 4 bar.

What to do if my Hytorc Stealth 8 Power Tool ratchet returns with a stroke?
    • T
      Tyler HoSep 8, 2025
If the ratchet returns with a stroke, the square drive may be defective. Replace the defective part.
