Thelife of an enginedependsupon many factors but most of all uponthe speed at
whichtheengineisoperated.Ifanengineisnormallyoperatedatspeedshigherthan
what recommended by the manufacturer, the wears and stress of the various
components(conrods,rollercages,bearingsetc.)willbesuchastodrasticallyreduce
thelifeoftheengineitself.Itisthereforeextremelyimportantthattheuserrespectsthe
operatinglimitsimposedbythemanufacturer.
The operating limit for the Leopard engine is 17000 RPM and the RPM limiter is
calibratedatthisvalue.
