Whenengineistoremainunoperativeforalongperioditmustbepreservedasfollows:
§ Disconnectthebatteryandchargeitperiodically(seeSect.12).
§ Disconnectcarburetorandcleanit.
§ Sealwithtapetheengineinletandexhaust.
