If your IBC Controller displays the 'Ign. Trials Exceeded' message due to ignition failure after three attempts, here's what you can check: * First, ensure the ignitor lead is securely connected to both the control module and the probe. * Next, verify gas flow by opening the manual gas shutoff and resetting the boiler. This addresses potential issues with a dirty burner or insufficient gas pressure. * Also, inspect the gap between the ignitor probe rods, ensuring it's correctly adjusted between 1/8th and 3/16th (3.2-4.7mm). If there's a spark but no ignition, and no current is detected, consider replacing the module. If the boiler ignites but shuts off at the end of the ignition trial, replacing the ignition lead may solve the problem.
