Diagnosis & Recommended
Troubleshooting
Output Limited (warning) - indicates that the
boiler is limiting/reducing water temperature
and/or vent temperature output.
Warning may appear if:
The Inlet/Outlet water temperature
differential exceeds the maximum
allowed.
The inlet water temperature is very close
to the max. outlet water temperature.
The vent temperature is too high.
If the warning persists, the status bar will display
a "Max deltaT Exceeded" alarm or "Vent High
Limit" alarm.
GV / Ign Module Gas valve or Ignition Module
(depending on software)
Check the ignition or the SIM module.
Check that the gas valve and gas valve
cable are functioning properly.
Interlock 1 Open / Interlock 2 Open Jumper lead is loose or compromised. Replace
the jumper lead.
External safety is in an alarm state. External
safety wired to Interlock has tripped or
malfunctioned.
Inspect the external safety devices.
High/Low Press (Only EX models)
Indicates that the gas pressure entering the
boiler is too high or too low.
Reset the gas pressure switch.
Other errors:
Loop/Indoor Sensor
Insufficient Air Flow”
Insufficient Water Pressure
Unknown Error
The sensor plug is not engaged.
Check the P501 plug is fully engaged in the back
of the controller board (see Controller Board
Layout on page 93).
