Removing the hard disk drive
To replace or remove the hard disk drive, do the following:
1. Make sure to disconnect the power and signal cables from the CD-ROM drive
and the diskette drive.
2. Pivot the latch that secures the lower drive mounting tray.
3. Slide the drive mounting tray toward the rear of the computer and remove it.
4. Remove the four screws (two on each side) that hold the hard disk drive to the
mounting tray.
5. Pull the hard disk drive from the mounting tray to remove it.
6. Reverse the procedure to install a new drive.
