5. Label and remove the memory DIMMs, recording their slot locations. For instructions, see
“Removing and replacing memory in the 7063-CR1” on page 20.
6. Remove all the fans and housings from the system. For instructions, see “Removing a system fan
from the 7063-CR1” on page 13.
7. Noting their slot locations, label, and remove the PCIe risers and adapters. For instructions, see
“Removing a PCIe adapter from the 7063-CR1 system” on page 24.
8. Remove the 12 screws that support the processor sockets from below the chassis.
a. Turn the system over, upside down.
b. Remove the 12 screws from the bottom. The screw locations are shown in Figure 30 on page 32.
c. Turn the system over, right side up.
