Each canister has two SAS ports that are numbered 1 on the left 1 and 2 on the
right 2. Port 1 must be connected if you are adding one expansion enclosure.
Port 2 must be connected if you are adding a second expansion enclosure.
Note: The reference to the left and right locations applies to canister 1, which is
the upper canister. The port locations are inverted for canister 2, which is the lower
canister.
Figure 17 shows the rear view of a Storwize V7000 Gen2 expansion enclosure and
identifies the location of power supply units and expansion canisters.

canister and identifies the SAS port locations.
