4 Biotech-Lab Software
4.1 INTRODUCTION
The Biotech-Lab Software is a modular system of different App’s. The structure of the programs is shown below.
The software works with Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows 10.
The Biotech-Lab server is the central software module. Additional App’s provide the functionality needed for the
different Biotech-Lab modules. The App’s are independent programs which can be used simultaneously. All general
functions like settings are also available in all different App’s.
The server functionality includes
• Scanning for connected Biotech-Lab Modules
• Communication with all Biotech-Lab Modules
• Communication between all Biotech-Lab Modules and Applications
