Too low ambient and water temperature (well
below the limitations of respectively 10°C and
5°C - 50°F and 40°F) or frequent interruptions of
the water supply to the freezing cylinder (clog-
ging of thewater hose connecting the float
reservoir to the water inlet at the bottom of the
freezer) may cause the ice to get too hard and
compact loosing fluidity and thereby seizing the
auger.
This situation will put under excessive strain
and load the entire drive system and freezer
bearings.

specified on the individual ice machine dataplate. The refrigerant charges indicated are relatives
to averages operating conditions.
