D Making a Position Request call (continued)
r Push [CALL] to make a Position Request Call.
• If Channel 70 is busy, the transceiver stands by until the channel
becomes clear.
t After the Position Request Call has been transmitted, the
following screen is displayed.
• Push [EXIT] to return to the normal operating mode.*
* Only USA version, the exit confirmation dialog (p. 29) is displayed.
• Only USA version, push [RESEND] to resend the call.
y When the acknowledgement call is received, alarm sounds
and the following screen is displayed.
u Push [ALARM OFF] to stop the alarm, and then the screen
as shown below is displayed.
i Push [EXIT] to return to the normal operating mode.*
