Function Description:
The IFB 23BC5 is a convection microwave oven designed for heating, cooking, and drying food. It offers various cooking modes including microwave, grill, convection, and combination cooking (microwave + grill, microwave + convection). The oven features a control panel with a display screen, number pads, and quick cook buttons for popular foods. It also includes specialized functions such as reheat, steam clean, deodorize, keep warm, ferment, and disinfect. For convenience, the oven has an auto menu with 10 categories of pre-programmed recipes, eliminating the need to manually set cooking time and power level. It also supports multi-stage cooking, allowing users to program up to three automatic cooking sequences. The oven incorporates a child-proof lock for safety and a power-save mode to conserve energy. Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: The oven should be unplugged before cleaning. The inside, outside surfaces, door, door seals, and adjacent parts should be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Abrasive cleaners and steam cleaners should be avoided.
- Glass Tray and Roller Ring: These parts should be removed and washed regularly in warm sudsy water or a dishwasher to prevent excessive noise and ensure proper positioning.
- Odor Removal: Odors can be removed by microwaving a cup of water with lemon juice and skin for 5 minutes, then wiping the cavity dry.
- Service: For light replacement or any repairs involving the removal of covers, a qualified service personnel or the service center should be contacted.
- Initial Use: Slight smoke and smell during the first use of the grill function are normal due to lubricating oil burning off and will disappear over time.
