Removing and adjusting head restraint
All your Grenadier’s seats are equipped with a head restraint
consisting of:
Restraint pad: This
is the cushioned part that the back of
the occupant's head contacts. It's designed to
comfortably support the head while being rm enough
to provide protection in a crash.
Posts: These are
the vertical metal rods that insert into
the top of the seatback. They allow for the adjustment of
the height of the head restraint to properly align with the
occupant's head.
Guide channels: These
are the parts on the seatback
where the posts slide in and out, allowing for height
adjustment.
Control button: a
button that unlocks the ends of the
posts, allowing a head restraint to be removed from the
seat back.
All head restraints are removable.
To remove a head restraint, push the control button
inward at
the base and pull the head restraint until fully
detached
To install a head restraint, make sure the head restraint
is facing
forward, and then push the control button
inward and push the head restraint into the location
holes in the top of the seat.
Never remove or install a head restraint while your
Grenadier is in motion.
