PV Connection (Only apply for the model with solar charger)
CAUTION: Before connecting to the PV modules, please install separately a DC circuit breaker between the
inverter and the PV modules.
WARNING! All wiring must be performed by qualified personnel.
WARNING! It is very important for the system’s safety and an efficient operation to use an appropriate cable for
the PV module connection. In order to reduce the risk of injury, please use the recommended cable size as below.
PV Module Selection:
When selecting the proper PV modules, please make sure to consider the below requirements first:
3. The open circuit Voltage (Voc) of the PV modules does not exceeds the max. PV array open circuit voltage of
the inverter.
Max. PV Array Open Circuit Voltage
2. Max. Power Voltage (Vmpp) of the PV modules should be close to the best Vmp of the inverter or within the
Vmp range to get best performance. If one of the PV module cannot meet this requirement, it is necessary to
have several PV modules connected in series. Refer to the table below.
Note: * Vmp: panel max power point voltage.
The PV charging efficiency is maximized while the PV system voltage is close to the Best Vmp.
Maximum PV module numbers in Series: Vmpp of PV module * X pcs ≒ Best Vmp of Inverter or Vmp
range
PV module numbers in Parallel: Max. charging current of inverter / Impp
Total PV module numbers = maximum PV module numbers in series * PV module numbers in
parallel
Selecting the proper PV modules for the 1KVA inverter: After making sure that the Voc of the PV module does not
exceed 30Vdc and the max. Vmpp of the PV module is close to 15Vdc or within 13Vdc ~ 18Vdc, we can choose the
CAUTION: Appliances such as air conditioners require at least 2 to 3 minutes to restart because time is needed
to balance the refrigerant gas inside the circuits. If a power shortage occurs and recovers in a short time, damage
will be caused to your connected appliances. In order to prevent this kind of damage, please check with the
manufacturer of the air conditioner if it is equipped with a time-delaying function before installation. Otherwise,
this inverter/charger will trigger an overload fault and cut off the output to protect your appliance but sometimes
it still causes internal damage to air conditioners.
