Turning Off the Move 5000
Press the yellow Clear key, and the dot key together to turn off the terminal.
Setting Up Bluetooth
Your terminal can only use the Ethernet connection when it is paired to the base unit.
It should already be paired with the base unit provided. If not, you can pair it by
taking the following steps:
1. Press F3 key on the ‘Ready’ screen.
2. Then select the following options:
Control Panel
Terminal Settings
Communication means
Bluetooth
Base
Association
New Base
You should see the bluetooth symbol at the top of the screen.
Connecting your Move 5000 to the Ethernet
1. Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the ethernet socket on your router, and
the other into the ethernet socket on the rear of the base unit.
2. Plug the power cord into the base unit, and into a power source.
3. Place the terminal into the base unit. The terminal will power up. After a short
initialization, it will be ready to use.
