Why is steam leaking from the side of my Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker lid?
- RrobbinsveronicaSep 5, 2025
If steam leaks from the side of the pressure cooking lid of your Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker, ensure that the sealing ring is fitted correctly. If the sealing ring is damaged, replace it. Also, make sure there is no food debris attached to the sealing ring by removing and cleaning it thoroughly. Ensure the lid is closed properly by opening and then closing it again. If the sealing ring rack is warped or off-centre, remove the sealing ring from the lid and check the rack for bends or warps. Finally, check the inner pot rim for deformation.
