Why is steam leaking from the side of my Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker lid?
- MmanningashleyAug 20, 2025
Steam leaking from the side of the Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker lid can occur due to several reasons: * The sealing ring might be missing. Ensure a sealing ring is fitted. * The sealing ring may be damaged or improperly fitted. Try replacing the sealing ring. * There could be food debris attached to the sealing ring. Remove and thoroughly clean the sealing ring. * The lid may not be closed correctly. Open and then close the lid again. * The sealing ring rack might be warped or off-center. Inspect the rack for any bends or warps. If found, contact Customer Care. * The inner pot rim could be misshapen. Check for any deformation and contact Customer Care.
