7. Connect the mains power cable for the machine to the IEC connector on the rear of the
machine and to the electrical power supply, which must be a grounded supply.
8. Refer to the documentation for the computer to connect the computer and monitor to the
electrical power supply.
9. Change the Windows Network TCP/IP settings for the dedicated Ethernet card to use a
fixed IP address. The following values are compatible with the system:
Contact your IT department if you are not sure how to do this.
10. The system is now ready to be turned on. Refer to “First Time Startup” on page 4-11
for instructions.
If installation of a system accessory requires additional cabling, refer to the documentation
for these devices for proper installation.
If the electrical supply is not grounded, you can use the supplemental ground cable to
connect the machine to a suitable ground in the building.
