LED Surgical Headlight System
1. The Baery utilizes a 5-bar LCD “fuel gauge” to indicate its charge
status (Figure 9):
5 bars displayed 81% - 100% charged
4 bars 61% - 80%
3 bars 41% - 60%
2 bars 21% - 40%
1 bar 1% - 20%
No bars Fully discharged
2. An audible notification in the form of a three-tone cycle will sound when the baery has fieen minutes of charge
remaining. The notification will repeat more frequently as the baery approaches the fully-discharged state.
15 minutes remaining 1 audible notification cycle
12 minutes 1 cycle
9 minutes 2 cycles
6 minutes 3 cycles
3 minutes Notification cycle repeats until baery is fully discharged
3. Lowering the Headlight intensity seing will extend the duration of the charge. If the intensity seing is lowered aer
the low baery notification sounds, the system will be reset and will reflect the longer remaining baery charge.
4. Approximate baery continuous run time is dependent on switch seing, level of charge and calibration state of
baery. On a fully charged baery, approximate run times are:
• High Switch seing is approximately 2 hours plus low baery notification cycle
• Medium Switch seing is approximately 2 1/2 hours plus low baery notification cycle
• Low Switch seing is approximately 3 hours plus low baery notification cycle
