LED Surgical Headlight System
1. The Baery utilizes a 5-bar LCD “fuel gauge” to indicate its charge
status (Figure 9):
5 bars displayed 81% - 100% charged
4 bars 61% - 80%
3 bars 41% - 60%
2 bars 21% - 40%
1 bar 1% - 20%
No bars Fully discharged
2. An audible notification in the form of a three-tone cycle will sound when the baery has fieen minutes of charge
remaining. The notification will repeat more frequently as the baery approaches the fully-discharged state.
15 minutes remaining 1 audible notification cycle
12 minutes 1 cycle
9 minutes 2 cycles
6 minutes 3 cycles
3 minutes Notification cycle repeats until baery is fully discharged
3. Lowering the Headlight intensity seing will extend the duration of the charge. If the intensity seing is lowered aer
the low baery notification sounds, the system will be reset and will reflect the longer remaining baery charge.
4. Approximate baery continuous run time is dependent on switch seing, level of charge and calibration state of
baery. On a fully charged baery, approximate run times are:
High Switch seing is approximately 2 hours plus low baery notification cycle
Medium Switch seing is approximately 2 1/2 hours plus low baery notification cycle
Low Switch seing is approximately 3 hours plus low baery notification cycle
