Low Signal Strength
• Check any obstruction such as the hull or monkey bridge of the vessel
that may block the ADU’s line of sight.
• Check any interference signal from other electronics devices that are
close to the ADU
• Check to ensure that the antenna cable is properly secured.
• Depending on the antenna’s location on the vessel, the vessel’s route
may cause the ADU’s line of sight to be blocked by any structure of
the vessel, depending on the elevation of the satellite.
Symptons Descriptions / Remedial Actions
No light appear on
BDU LED.
• Ensure the power switch on the front panel is at “On” position.
• To reset the circuit breaker on the front panel by depressing the lever
of the circuit breaker inward fully and release.
• Check to ensure that the input DC power will have at least +24VDC,
10A or +12VDC, 20A.
