Primary Handset Status Indicators
Table below explains the meaning of each status indicator displayed
in the Main Display screen.
Status Indicator Description
New short message (SMS) in inbox.
Available CS domain services.
Available PS domain services.
Data connection is inactive. (Available in Manage proles sub menu only)
Data connection is active.
Ciphering is enabled.
Radio silent is enabled.
Primary Handset keypad lock is active.
Primary Handset disconnected from BDU.
Primary Handset connected to BDU.
The terminal has locked on to Inmarsat satellite “I-4 Asia Pacic”.
The terminal has locked on to Inmarsat satellite “I-4 EMEA”.
The terminal has locked on to Inmarsat satellite “I-4 Americas”.
Primary Handset in silent mode.
Telephony CS port is engaged.
Signal strength.
