1.2 Connecting to a Wireless Access Point
1 . To begin the adapter conguration by
connecting to a wireless AP, double-click
the utility icon in the system tray (or right-
click the one that automatically appears on
the desktop), then select the “Open Cong
Utility” option from the popup menu.
2. When the Utility screen
displays, click on the
Available Network menu
tab, then double-click the
wireless access point you
want to connect to from
among those that appear
in the Available Network(s)
table, as shown at right.
3. When the Wireless Network
Properties screen displays,
enter your security settings
and click “OK” to initiate the
network connection.
