Itisrecommendedthatthemattressischecked(foam,air
insertandcover)forstrike-through(thismayincludeuid
ingress,stains,ripsordamage)afterthereleaseofeach
patient,afterendingoftheperiodofuseoronaminimum
monthlybasis(dependingonwhichoccursrst)byasuitably
qualiedandcompetentperson.
Checkmattress(multipleuse)
1.Unzipthecovercompletely.
2.Checkforanystainingonthewhiteundersideofthe
cover.
3.Checkforanystainingontheinteriorfoam.
4.Replaceanystaineditemsanddisposeofasperlocal
authorityprocedure.
5.Removemainspowerandcheckaudiblesounder
operates.
6.Visuallyinspectmainscordforsignsofdamageorwear.
