5.4.7 Calculate the real alarm distance
The actual alarm distance DalarmReal is the value to be entered in the application Inxpect Safety, in Manual
configuration and in the Alarm distance parameter.
DalarmReal indicates the maximum distance between the sensor and the object that is to be detected.
5.5 Calculation of position for sensor height > 1 m
5.5.1 Introduction
The formulas for calculating the optimum position of the sensor for sensors with installation heights greater
than 1 m are reported as follows.
WARNING! Define the optimum sensor position based on the risk assessment requirements.
Note: the maximum allowed height is 3 m and the sensor inclination can only be downwards (α negative).
