2. SYSTEM DECT COMPONENTS &
SPECIFICATIONS
The System DECT solution works well with iPECS eMG80 System which is comprised of WTIB4,
Base Station (RPF), and DECT terminal. The next figure shows a general DECT reference model
of Wireless Office Terminal System (WOTS).

PABX – Private Automatic Branch Exchange
RFP – Radio Fixed Part (Base Station)
PSTN – Public Switched Telephone Network
The following is needed to configure the System using DECT phones:
WTIB4 board –One WTIB4 can be connected to the iPECS eMG80 System. WTIB4
can support up to four Base Stations.
Base Station (GDC-600BE) – The Base Station can process up to six simultaneous
calls. The Base Station should be installed indoors and protected from surge because
it is designed for indoor station.
Wireless Terminal (GDC-450H/480H/500H) – Up to 48 wireless terminals can be
registered.
