There are two other components on the electrical panel:
• The 9-Pin female connector that can be used:
On Standard and Automatic models to attach a pedal switch. On Automatic models (only) to access an
RS-232 serial data port. Using this data port, the Better Packages Automatic Measuring Device (AMD-1)
(purchased separately) can be utilized to instantly measure & dispense the exact length as tape needed.
• A user-replaceable fuse.

3. Plug the male end of the power cord into a 110/120v 60hz receptacle.
If you are not sure if the electrical system in your building is properly grounded, contact a licensed
electrician.
