SETTING THE TIME
1) Press
SET

to view the hour digits (blinking). Set it using the buttons .
2) Next, press
SET
CLOCK
to view the minute digits (blinking). Set it using the buttons .
3) Press
SET
CLOCK
again to conrm the time. The set time will appear on the main menu.

WARNING
» The performance of the softener depends on the hardness of the water. It is very
important to respect the recommended cycles of regeneration as well as checking the
level of salt in the brine tank to ensure the correct dissolution.
» After a power cut, check the valve's programming. The time might need to be set.
MAINTENANCE POINTS
Weekly
• Check that the time is the current time. Regeneration will take place at 2:00 a.m. or at the set time.
• Check whether salt is consumed during the regenerations; if that is not the case, contact ISTOBAL Technical
Service.
• Check the salt level in the brine tank. The salt level shall never be under the water line on the tank. For
adequate equipment operation and throughput, we recommend compacted salt in tablets, 25 kg - ref.2052700,
special for water treatment.
Fortnightly
• Use the water test to determine the hardness of the softened water.
Every 4-8 years
• Change the resin once it is no longer suitable.
