Safety precautions
Introduction
Thepersonnelinchargeofrunningandservicingthemachinemustbewelltrainedandhave
an in-depth knowledge of the safety standards; unauthorized personnel must remain outside
the working area.
Qualication of maintenance personnel
Thecompositionandqualicationofpersonnelteamsset-outinthemaintenanceplanare
thoserecommendedbyITALDIBIPACK S.p.A..
Mechanical maintenance technician
Qualiedtechnicianabletorunthemachineinnormalconditions,makeitwork
inmanualmode,interveneonmechanicalpartstoperformallnecessaryadjust-
ments,maintenanceandrepairs.
Electrical maintenance technician
Qualiedtechnicianabletorunthemachineinnormalconditionsandmakeit
workinmanualmode;isresponsibleforallelectricalinterventionsofadjustment,
maintenanceandrepair.Isabletooperateinthepresenceofvoltageinsidejunc-
tionboxesandcabinets.
Competences related to qualied personnel
Tomeasureuptothegrowingneedforqualicationintheeldofmaintenanceofautomatic
processingsystems,themaintenancepersonnelmustmandatorily:
•knowthedirectivesinforcerelatingtoaccidentpreventionduringworkperformedonma-
chineswithmotorizeddriveandbeabletoapplythem,
•knowhowtouseandconsultthemanufacturingpaperandmachinedocumentation,
•beinterestedintheefcientoperationofthemachine,
•bewillingtoadapttotechnologicalchangesonthemachines,
•beabletoascertainirregularitiesintheproductionprocessand,whenappropriate,takethe
necessarymeasures.
Specic safety precautions
Beforecarryingoutmaintenance,werecommendstrictlyobservingthefollowingwarnings:
•Themaximumreliabilityofthemachineandtheminimummaintenancecostsaretheresultof
aplannedinspectionandmaintenanceprogramandstrictlyobservedduringtheentirelife-
spanofthemachineitself.
•Strictlyobservetheestablishedmaintenanceintervalsandscheduletheinterventionsac-
cordingtothespecicneedsinrelationtotheproductioncycleofthemachine.
